CDM’s reputation is built on our passion for solving noise and vibration problems, our professional approach, engineering capabilities, technical excellence and most of all on our people – so if you have a problem related to noise and vibration then come and talk to us – we think you’ll like what you hear.
To make the world a quieter place where people are happier, healthier and more productive in an environment where levels of noise and vibration are responsibly managed.
We strive to be global market leaders; offering high quality, customised and innovative solutions for the urban environment, made possible by investing in our highly skilled, committed and empowered people.
CDM – Making your world a quieter place.
When CDM was founded in 1951 we manufactured exclusively plastic cork materials; however, as a result of investment in research, development and testing we soon expanded our activities to offer comprehensive engineered solutions.
In the early 1960’s we were pioneers in “building base isolation” and showcased the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp as our first major multifunctional building project of this type.
In the nineties we developed a new range of elastomer materials which enabled us to offer a much wider portfolio of products and opened up exciting new markets for us – including the rail market.
Soon after, as part of our ongoing environmental commitment, we invested in the development and manufacture of recycled rubbers which were added to our product range in 2004. Today CDM’s focus is to provide the best possible engineered solutions for noise and vibration challenges in the building and industrial markets.
CDM’s many years of experience in the building market, our highly skilled engineering team, sophisticated computer analysis software and extensive knowledge of materials enables us to research, design and deliver the optimum solution for any noise and vibration specification.
At our headquarters in Belgium we have a full in-house test facility enabling our team of highly qualified engineers to be constantly testing and evaluating, developing and improving our products and systems so that they meet the ever increasing demands of the urban environment.
Whatever your building type we guarantee that we’ll have worked on something very similar and will be able to refer to useful data collected at the time.
Quality: as part of CDM’s ongoing strategy for maintaining the highest levels of quality we are committed to a programme of continuous development and improvement of our quality management system in conformity with ISO9001.
Environmental: the CDM Group is committed to optimisation and management of energy conservation, waste, reducing atmospheric emissions and compliance with all customer requirements and legislation as a minimum. We are currently auditing our internal systems and practices (and those of our supply chain) and working towards ISO14001 accreditation.
